Vodka
Vodka is a distilled spirit that is made from any agricultural produce, however predominantly grain or molasses. In eastern Europe, it is also common to produce vodka with potatoes and rice. It is commonly referred to as a neutral spirit, as the initial distillation must reach above 96%ABV which strips away a lot of flavours but it’s far from neutral and the skill for good vodka producers is how they translate and retain flavours from raw materials.
