Pisco is distilled from the musts of freshly fermented grapes harvested in the subtropical desert environment between the foothills of the Andes and the Pacific Coast in Peru. Disputed if it is Peruvian or Chilean, Peru is the original but Chile produces more. Like whiskies, the Irish invented it but scotch makes more of it.
