American Whiskey
When we are talking about American whiskey we are mainly talking about Bourbons, sweet, Rye, spice and Sour Mash soured sweet. Bourbons have to be 51% corn content, Rye 51% rye grain content in the mash bill. Sour Mash using the Lincoln Country process, washing the distillate back over the mash for any of the residual sugars and it must be filtered through charred sugar maple charcoal.
