Bonterra’s home is in Mendocino County, which also happens to be one of the greatest places on earth to grow Zinfandel. Zinfandel is inextricably tied to Mendocino and stands as a tribute to the Italians who settled this county and the remarkably rustic wines they created. Bonterra Zinfandel is elegant, balanced, and undeniably Mendocino. The winemakers try not to manipulate the wine too much, mainly because the fruit from their exceptional organic vineyards doesn’t require it. Bottled at 15% ABV.
